Mosaic Storywalks

Storywalks are a way to support literacy and outdoor exploration. Through the Beautiful Stuff Project, Connection Lab has created multiple mosaic Storywalks, including Dandelion Days, Sweet Colors, Day at the Beach and How do you Feel? Each page of each book is a mosaic created by community members during community tiling sessions.  Made of frost-proof materials, the stories move between school playgrounds and city parks throughout the year to increase literacy skills for young children and provide a fun excuse to be outside.
