COVID Memorial

The Brockton Public Library approached Connection Lab to create a project that would pay tribute to the more than 400 Brockton residents who were lost to COVID. In collaboration with community members and library staff, we designed and named a series of books titled with words that tell the story of how the community will move through and thrive past the pandemic. Community members of all ages helped to tile the pieces, and the base of the sculpture is decorated with epoxy memorial sculptures made by individuals who had lost a loved one.
